Spring fun!
100 excited kindergarteners, 1300 colorful eggs, 1 sunny morning and several awesome teachers...add them all together for one fabulously "egg"citing morning. Students were tasked with finding 13 eggs numbered 1-13. They did great and were helpful to their friends who needed it. Following the egg hunt, they bunny hopped through hoops, played bean bag toss, worked together to get hula hoops moving through a circle of friends and had egg spoon races. Everyone was a winner this fine morning.
"Egg"ceptional helpers...Thank you! And thank you to everyone who sent in eggs.
Science: Force and Motion
We have had lots of hands on fun, exploring pushes and pulls. Students have designed "mini" mini golf courses. They have collected data on time taken to push and pull their friends. They have designed ramps and so much more. They have worked cooperatively with each other, planning, implementing and testing their ideas.
